Remembrance Poppies

This collection of work both honours everyone who has dedicated their life at some time to the service of their country, while paying remembrance to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in this selfless service.

The text written on these artworks has been transcribed from correspondence sent between loved ones during war times, with the size of each artwork corresponding to the size of silk postcards - embroidered postcards which became popular for military servicemen to send back to loved ones from the Western Front in WW1.
